Follow the adventures of Sam and Alex, two bumbling actors trying desperately to present a few of the world's most beloved fairy tales. In addition to entertaining with humor, slapstick, and charm, Sam and Alex also guide the audience through the creative world of story structure, writing vocabulary, and theatrical staging. Drawn from an ancient Inca folk tale, this musical play shows how a child, filled with truth and courage, can bring healing and hope to her people. In this enchanting bilingual play, young Pedro and his family discover wisdom from the fantastical stories of their heritage and a mystery is revealed by a strange visitor, Señora Tortuga.
